I am headed to Michgan today for six days. We picked up our friends from Midway Airport yesterday and went walking around gridlock downtown Chcago all afternoon! Then driove to the Northwest suburbs to stay at a hotel. My daughter is on dog patrol. But i dont have enough of my medicine so I need to go back and get it. So I need to go back into the city and get it at her house before I leave the sate! I guess I had a sr moment and forgot how to count!!!!!
We are headed back to Florida around the 20th.

Good Morning Carla and OFF Family,
Sorry I'm going to miss a possible opportunity to meet you in Michigan, Carla. I'm in Pennsylvania till the 21st. I am staying at my sis-in-law's. It's very hot and humid here. So grateful for air conditioning. Didn't have it in Michigan, but son-in-law will be installing it while I'm here.
Tonight, I'm going to a Phillies game, hoping it doesn't rain. There's a chance of scattered thunder showers.
I have a few errands to run, and then I'm gonna come back here to cool off.

Here in the Philadelphia suburbs it's high 80s, low 90s with high humidity. I'm staying at my sis-in-law's, where she has room air conditioners in all the rooms. If I were at my sister's, she only has a window air conditioner in the dining room, which also cools the living room and kitchen, there are no walls between those rooms. But, she has no A/C in the bedrooms. Plus, Mom will be staying with her, and I had enough of Mom 24/7 the six weeks I was in a cast with a broken foot.
My son-in-law, and a friend from church, are installing central air in my house. I'm forever grateful, with my sinus allergies and asthma. I'm also very grateful the summer had been mild, for the most part, prior to my trip.

Good morning Carla and Trish and all my OFF sistas!
Well, the big day is finally here. We're leaving for vacation in a couple of hours. Benny is beside himself with excitement! "Goin' bacation!"
Carla, have fun on your trip. Would love to go through Amish Country one day. Trish, being from Texas, I just can't conceive of a house without AC!
Butch nearly finished installing our new front door yesterday. What a job that turned out to be! But he didn't have time to install the new glass in the sidelights, so he just cut a couple of boards and temporarily covered the window slots with plywood. Should have time to finish the whole thing next week after we get back.
Well, I've got to scoot, as Trish always says. Got nearly everything loaded up in the RV last night. Still have to load a few last minute things this morning and our cold foods. Sure was nice to just hang clothes in the closet and stuff last night. No more suitcases!

Oh, also so excited, I got to see a 7 for a middle number today. First time (other than going thru the divorce) in , weeeeeeeel since 16.
BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.
